Company Profile

Wish Kenya Limited, earlier referred to as Wish Kenya Privet Limited opened its doors in Kenya, in 2010. The once a manual one-dryer facility in Thika, Kiambu County, today has most of its processes automated. WKL is commitment and dedication to quality. This has led to the pursuit and implementation of a management policy that complies with FSSC 22000. We are now FSSC 22000 certified.

With a number of contracted aggregators, the supply of Macadamia nuts in shell is made to
the factory during the season. These suppliers are trained on the need for good quality nuts
from the farmers. The aggregators in turn by virtue of the policy propagated by Wish Kenya concern for the environment, exert extra efforts in training the farmers to exercise good agronomical methods on the farms. The smallholder producers who are the bulk of our suppliers through aggregators, are are encouraged to practice modern Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) with limited application of chemical through Integrated Pest Management (IPM).

Our Team

From the owner and pioneer, WKL has grown from a handful staff, to a jovial big team, that will ensure raw materials are received, cleaned, dried, cracked, sorted,  nitrogen flushed and vacuum-packed into a final product. This value addition process, as for any food processing, requires stringent hygiene level. We are a “family” at WKL.
